Where can I find your products?
The largest selection of Summerland Sweets products is available at our Country Store in Summerland, BC. Our store is open year round, with the exception of a short holiday closure over Christmas and New Years.
We also have a seasonal kiosk at Orchard Park Mall in Kelowna (usually open for the months of November and December) and Cherry Lane Mall in Penticton (usually open only in December). These are currently the only retail locations owned and operated by Summerland Sweets.
We are pleased to have partnerships with several other independent retailers across Canada who offer a selection of our products to their local communities. You can find a list of these businesses here.
Do you offer shipping?
We offer shipping across Canada and the U.S. through our online store. Use the navigation to add items to your cart. The website will automatically supply you with a shipping quote after you have entered your address.
Shipping outside of North America? Give us a call at 1-(800)-577-1277 to place your order by phone.
We are not able to offer free shipping at this time.
Where do I find the best before date?
Best before dates are printed on the lids of jam jars and on the backs of syrup bottles just above the label. Occasionally, the date will wear off, particularly on syrup bottles. In this case, we recommend consuming the syrup within five years of purchase. After opening, try to consume within one year.
Should I store my Summerland Sweets in the refrigerator?
Jams - yes. Syrups - no! Storing your syrup in the fridge can cause the sugars to crystalize, altering the texture and their ability to pour nicely over your pancakes. If you’ve already stored your syrup in the fridge and have noticed a change in consistency, try warming it up to regain fluidity.
Our dry products - nut brittles, fruit leather, and jelly candies - do not require refrigeration.
Do you have any gluten-free products?
Are your products dairy-free?
Our jams, syrups, fruit leathers, and jelly candies, are all dairy-free. Our nut brittles contain margarine, which is not dairy-based, but can occasionally contain trace amounts of dairy products.
Are your jams and syrups safe for those with nut allergies?
Although our jams, syrups, fruit leathers, and jelly candies don’t contain any nuts, they are all produced in the same facility as our nut brittles, and, as such, there is a risk of cross-contamination. Please be aware that all of our products carry the risk of cross-contamination with peanuts, cashews, walnuts, almonds, and pecans.
Do you have sugar-free products?
We have discontinued our line of No Sugar Added syrups and unfortunately do not have a sugar-free syrup option at this time.
Do you offer special pricing for wedding favors or other events?
Yes, we do offer special pricing to those ordering in large quantities for a wedding or other event! Please fill out our wedding favor contact form or get in touch with us by email at summerlandsweets@telus.net for more details and pricing.
What are your most popular flavours?
With 19 flavours of Fruit Syrup and over 30 flavours of Gourmet Jams and Spreads, it can be hard to pick just one favourite! In general, these are the flavours we find to be most popular across the board.
